Every company has its good points and bad points. Unfortunately for Apple, as you previously stated, they are under a microscope. No one writes about the spyware, malware, viruses, frequent crashes, etc. that are guaranteed to occur in the Windows world…

That’s true, for the most part. You forgot to mention the critics. They all scramble to get tickets for opening night, then rush to write their reviews. They tend to admire their own words more than they admire the subjects of their reviews.

What an extraordinarily reasonable article. One of the most sensible and judicious essays about Apple and its trials I’ve read recently. It is amazing to me how childishly exaggerated all of the responses to Apple are, whether pro or con.
