They’re both advertisements demonstrating Microsoft’s pure genius ability to combine several otherwise noble and competent components (a good comedian, good time and good money) into one fantastic waste of time for end user / viewer.

Seems to be the perfect analogy of what Microsoft stands for. We should all applaud their marketing team for at least accurately reflecting the product being advertised.

I’d find it really hard to believe that they paid Seinfeld $10 million for two ads. I guess we will see!
