This is exactly why I created iForem.

More and more people are looking at the Internet to provide them with answers. Unfortunately, what they find are solutions that don’t provide the assurance that their most important and critical content is protected from unauthorized access or worse. You need a flexible choice to secure and protect content which is more critical than most and a solution that is cost effective.

There has to be a better solution -and there is: iForem.

What a timely post. As of yesterday, 10/31/08, AOL also discontinued their Hometown pages which I have been using for the past eight years to host my Grahm Junior College site. I only learned it was closing about 10 days ago when I was doing some long delayed maintenance and noticed a banner announcing it. If they did send me an email, I must have missed it. Don't recall any "urgent" messages from customer care recently. Anyway, I backed up my stuff and now I have a reason to cancel my 13 year relationship with America Online. I hope they miss my $9.95 a month, and maybe that of a few thousand disgruntled others.
