I really didn’t mean to start anything, but in your post you said, “If you thought John McCain ran a shoddy campaign…”. According to dictionary.com, shoddy can mean, “Made of or containing inferior material.”, but it can also mean, “Dishonest or reprehensible”.

I took it to mean the later. I apologize if I read it the wrong way. If that wasn’t the way you meant it, you might want to consider revising your post in order to make that clear.

Again, I mean to disrespect to you.

Mr. Oswald,

Wouldn’t it be best to not write stories on a technology blog that encourage posters to write insulting political comments? You may not like John McCain or his politics, and that’s fine, but in your post you insinuate that he did something illegal during the campaign, yet you do not give us any evidence as proof. As a journalist, it is necessary to always back up your comments with some actual facts.

Please do not stoop to silly political bickering and baseless accusations here.
