On the left, an Apple iPod Nano; on the right, my Oker iPlay. Apple’s player is admittedly much thinner. The Oker, however, has pervasive USB instead of a proprietary Dock Connector, and thoughtfully provides information in large, easy-to-read stickers which you can remove if you choose. The iPod Nano is “designed by Apple in California”; the iPlay was plagiarized by Oker in some unspecified Asian city. Both players were manufactured in China.
