I checked out the Vaio P at CES–it’s not really pocket-sized (unless you’re talking a trenchcoat). Keyboard was pretty good; pointing stick was tricky (but might get easier with use); screen was pretty small to cram on the whole Windows Vista interface. I understand that Sony doesn’t like people calling it a netbook, but it strikes me as a sort of subnetbook…

Like the size, but since it runs Windows Vista, it’s not even worth considering in my opinion.

It looks like a lot of design compromises were made– a physical keyboard on a device that size? I’d save $700 and get more functionality with an iPod Touch.
