Jimmy Fallon on Twitter

Jimmy Fallon (late-night talk show host, SNL alum)

Comic @jimmyfallon comes off as a regular tweeter who happens to have his own TV show. He’s tweeted from the Web and via two different clients, Twitterific and Tweetie–an impressive sign that he actually likes doing this stuff.

Lots of great news from Apple today, but I’m very happy the stock is down and I hope it goes down more over the next few days because I sold 25 of my shares this morning in anticipation of the drop.
Good news or bad, Apple always drops after a keynote.

I then, of course, want to buy back in when it’s at the bottom (maybe around 120s) and ride it up to 200+ again.

  33. ANDREA CAMPBELL Says:

I see that all the celebs on the twitter and facbook have some good causes they fight for but one. We have so many of OUR MIlitary men and weman committing suicide more then any other war. I like most have many generation of military family members. I have lost a son/nephew to suicide Aug 8th 2008. I know I am not the only one to lose a loved one in the war and PSTD is a big reason we are losing so many. We do not teach our children to kill most of us teach this is not ok and not GODS will. In times of war it does not matter who choices to start it it matters the lives that are lost and effected. I had a call from one of the leading psych doctors that told me that the out process is monitored and that they give the soldiers time to tell them if they are having trouble cooping. I know from talking to many that all the soldiers want to do is get out and if they say they are having trouble they can not get out for anouther 3 mon of psych evals that lable them with mental problems. Most have plans on re-enlisting and know that will ruin the chance for them to get back into the military. Close your eyes for a few moments and try to picture the carnage of war. the cries from all over for help. the smell of death and the dying. the smells coming from the wepons used. trying to help someone and watching them die in your arms. we do not teach are children to go into this. We ask them to come home uneffected. I was informed they check for signs. I was told it is a weakness the soldiers do not want to show or relive.. in order to get help they have to tell the story of the pain and helpleeness they had. Most refuse to becouse they know night after night when they close thier eye they see it in living color and can still smell it. My son’s base was infiltrated becouse the gaurd left the post March 3 2008 he was not on duty he was a sleep in the back. When the blast hit the front we lost two soldier that night. My SGT’s commanding officer felt out of control of his unit and blaimed this 23 yr soldier for the loss of one of the two in the blast. My soldier who was 23 and the other soldier who he wou;d have givien his life for was 22yrs old. The comanding officer wanted him to do cpr on a soldier who had massive internal injuries and no amout of cpr would have saved him. Our soldiers our tought they have a new family when they join and they have to keep them save and bring them home. I can not tell you how that stayed with my soldier. The Psych Doc said PSTD is hard to prove and they recheck them after 120 of proscessing out. My soldier lasted less then 2 wks so the I guess he is right it is hard to prove. Congress was asked to help reform the prossess the soldiers have to go thriugh to prove they have PSTD. WHY should they have to prove it could you live with what they had to do, see, smell, hear? Some can coop some can not. My soldier was 23 yrs old when he put a gun to his head on the side of a dark hwy. I am all for our soldiers but they should not have to prove that war is hell and they have been traumatized by the duty they have been asked to do and it does not in no way make them a weaker person to ask for the help we should give with out question.

  34. Unemployment Admin Says:

I don’t use Twitter all that much. To me it seems like more of a fad that has already peeked. I think it has it’s uses, for example its a great tool in an internal corporate environment. It has proved itself to be an effective means of keeping our team members productive on special projects and really help to move things forward. But as a social medium, I don’t see it lasting.
