Haven’t you noticed hardware getting smaller? Google / Android will be the norm in coming years. I’ve been carrying a 2.2 lb Fujitsu for 3 years – it never left my sight until after Oct 20th when I got my G1. Tha asus deal will bring more people to smaller platforms. Bulky laptops and desktops will no longer be necessary with every thing headed to the cloud. I don’t understand your beta tag for the G1 other than it’s lack of Flash. For 95% of what I do daily the G1 performs superlatively in size, form and function.

My prediction- Android will hit it’s stride in perfect coincidence with the nearly arrived mass market consumer everything wireless revolution.

Could be wrong – but I usually get it right.
