Coleco Pro-Action Football Commercial

Early 1960s

The handheld electronic games that arrived in the late 1970s were spiritual descendants of electric games such as these Coleco football ones, which used a motor to vibrate the playing field and send the players skittering randomly. Let’s just ignore the O.J. Simpson cameo in this ad, shall we?
