		<description>I work right next door to Petters Worldwide (I work for the company that owns their property).  After the raid, which I saw first hand, I knew that not only Petters was gone, the Polaroid name was just going to be a brand name and thats it.  It became clear the moment that I saw their name on cheap TV&#039;s.  That was just the beginning of the company existing purely as a brand name.  Not worth much these days especially when the company that acquired them basically admitted that they will use it for everything its worth.</description>

I was working in a camera store in the early 70&#039;s, and Polaroid was always an innovative company. Perhaps the best example is the SX-70, which was an amazing camera for its time. It had auto exposure, auto focus, was a single lens reflex camera, and folded down into a small, protected package.
