This is very disturbing. Registry restoration is merely one part of what System Restore does. Granted it does get corrupted which is why you need a good backup program - like Paragon, NOT ERUNT which will leave you , Regalos publicitarios

Granted it does get corrupted which is why you need a good backup program – like Paragon, NOT ERUNT which will leave you up the creek without a paddle if, for example, you need to restore files or roll back to a previous state.

I thought System Restore was more then just the registry, including settings in your user profile, system files and drivers? In Vista is also uses Shadow Copy to backup files that are in use.
