The Ps3 does need a price drop. Not because it costs too much, but because there are so many people out there that do not appreciate all that the ps3 has to offer. $100 more for a ps3 over a 360; no brainer, and its worth every penny even more.

I just knew that Sony was going to drop its price on the PS3. The only thing that I can promise is that until the PS3 goes down to $299, I won’t buy it. All the titles in the world and Blu-ray are not an incentive to spend $100+ more than the 360.

It’s clear that Sony now has no intentions to fully compete in this generation with the PS3. Thus, I think they’re just trying to recoup their losses and move on. It is shocking that they’ll continue to keep the console as expensive as it was.

Blu-ray? Sorry.. movies are still way too expensive.. $25 even at Walmart.
