Runner Up for Game of Show: Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer

Readers of last year’s Game Awards know I’m without a Playstation 3, and this is the first game to make me think long and hard about changing that. Heavy Rain is no graphical triumph, but its high-tech crime scene investigations and danger of permanent death — a finite number of characters can be used to solve the game’s mysteries — left me curiouser than anything else I played.
