I’m an XM subscriber (for the car) and refuse to pay the extra $2.99 a month to get it on my iPhone. Sirius was stupid here. This should have been a value-add, not a way to bilk their current users.

I downloaded it. Confirmed my account doesn’t have service. Then gave it a 1 star rating for poorly conveying that info and overcharging for access.

Sirius is offering 7 day free trial of service! This is probably heping to entice new subscribers to at least try it out. I had never used satelite radio before but have been enjoying the service with no cost for the past few days. I’m not sure that it is worth the 12.99 price tag either.
