I just bought a refurbished Kindle II for my wife for her birthday. It was $189 w/ free shipping, the standard Kindle warranty. If I didn’t tell you it was a refurb, you’d never know. Unlike Apple refurbs, the Kindle also came in original packaging. I wish it was for me and not my wife. It’s pretty damn cool :)

The standard Kindle is still too small and without color, I feel $259 is too pricey. However, it’s getting closer to the $200 where I’d gladly pull the trigger.
