Can’t wait- but having just started playing with Google Wave, I’ll be curious to see if they can get Gears working properly again. As it stands I can drag and drop into a wave from Chrome in XP, but not from Safari in Snow Leopard.

Oh, ok. So the Windows version’s compound buttons on the right that incorporate all the menus into two buttons really is nonexistent on the Mac version?

It’s got nine menus in its menu bar (including the Apple menu, which is mandatory on Macs, and the Help menu, which is more-or-less mandatory). I’m not on a Mac right now so I can’t detail ‘em–but it seems like an awful lot…
