LeVar Burton (distinguished American actor and director, Star Trek alum, Reading Rainbow host)

@levarburton has more than three decades of acclaim as a performer under his belt, but his rise on Twitter has been nothing short of meteoric–he began tweeting the day after Christmas (after wresting his @name from an imposter) and has nearly 12,000 followers already. No wonder he’s suddenly everyone’s favorite tweeter: He’s entertaining, enthusiastic, interactive, and real. And, as I discovered last week when I met him at CES, an equally nice guy in person.
