Hey, I'm a Blogginghead!

I’ve had fun watching the (mostly political) “diavlogs” on Bloggingheads.tv for years. Late last week, I had fun making one with Bloggingheads impressario Robert Wright. This time the topic was tech–we discussed the iPad, Facebook, Android fragmentation, and the Palm Pre (Bob is smitten, and I told him he could go ahead and buy one).

Apparently Bloggingheads isn’t iPad friendly.

Their embeds aren’t–but if you go to the Bloggingheads site, it should let you watch as an MP4.

Guys, you drone on about porn and apps, and while Apple’s inconsistent stance on what flies (and what doesn’t) bothers me, there actually *is* a porn app on the iPhone OS: Safari. The overall popularity of the iPhone has led to a huge amount of porn sites specifically designed to operate with the iPhone. Or so I’ve heard…
Also, iPhones ship with headphones that allow a lot of control over the phone and the iPod app on it. Don’t wax too nostalgic about that Treo 650. Maybe you’ve forgotten how often it stopped your music for you – by crashing.

Mr. McCracken, welcome to the webOS family (assuming you get the Pre Plus). It’s a fantastic device with the best operating system on the market. Be sure to check in with the webOS community on Twitter… you’ll get all the help you need and then some. It’s really the best darn mobile community I’ve ever been a part of.
