Amazon didn't perfect it. Nook is much better. Amazon's didn't even come with pdf support.

"Perfected" is the last verb I would use in connection with the Kindle. It's a Pet Rock, a product with essentially no merit that seems to be the fad of the moment– at least the hype is– we still have no numbers from AMZN regarding how many Kindlings they actually sell.

“Perfected” was the wrong word–since I don’t think the Kindle is perfect–but it’s been existence for almost four years now, and while I wish that Amazon would be clearer about how well it’s selling, it does say it’s the single best-selling thing on the site. Seems like that takes it out of Pet Rock territory.

After the Rootkit (sony music) and GeoHot (the PS2) there's only one thing I won't do with Sony: buy anything. They used to be an innovative, good company. Now they install malware or sue their customers.

    Bye bye Sony.

I still think Kindle Fire is one of the best e-readers out there. Going to get one for Christmas, it's a must for book lovers like me.
