This retrospective focuses on Mattel and Coleco games, mostly–they’re the ones that generate the most nostalgic warm fuzzies–but let it be known that many other companies made lots of handheld games in the 1980s. Bandai was a prolific manufacturer–this baseball game is so rudimentary that you keep score manually, using numbers you advance with thumbwheels.
