Sleeper Hit: Pac-Man Battle Royale

Some friends and I found the arcade game at a Namco event celebrating Pac-Man’s 30th birthday, and got hooked. Pac-Man Battle Royale, due out this fall, is basically competitive Pac-Man, with four players trying to grab power pellets and eat each other. Simple to learn and full of frantic moments, this was easily one of the best games I played at E3. I don’t think Namco realizes it has a genuine hit on its hands.
