SprinT-Mobile?

Bloomberg’s Serena Saitto, Jacqueline Simmons, and Jeffrey (no relation) McCracken are reporting that Sprint and T-Mobile are in merger talks.

    Interesting concept, but how do they propose to merge Sprint, which is CDMA/Clearwire/Wi-Max with T-Mobile which is GSM/HSDPA+3G? We all know how well the merger of Sprint with NexTel went: i.e. they did not merge at all, NexTel is still a separate, virtually orphaned useless service.
