This photo probably looks more artistic (or just worse) than it should be. It’s my best attempt at shooting the inside of a 50-foot media dome, where xRez was showing an atmospheric video of American deserts and canyons. Domes like this can be found at planetariums and museums around the country, but xRez’s Greg Downing says the company’s videos are unique in combining panoramic nature photography with computer graphics.
