I’ve been using a new MacBook Pro with its buttonless touchpad for a couple of months now without understanding how it works. This drawing–which shows that the feature was more than two years in the making–instantly explains it. I think it shows a touchpad that’s depressable on both the top and bottom; current Apple touchpads only let you do that to their bottom edge. Which doesn’t mean that the company might not release a dualie like this one eventually.
